With wedding season in full swing, my growing belly, and lots of traveling over the summer things have been somewhat neglected here on the blog. Today, I am rectifying that situation by sharing the story of Sarah + Wendy, who were married a few short weeks ago on a beautiful Thursday afternoon at The Ranche.

Sarah + Wendy contacted me in the spring, wondering if I was available for their wedding at the beginning of July. The starts aligned, as their wedding was taking place the day before I was leaving for BC for another wedding. And I am so, so happy that I was able to witness their day. From getting ready together the morning of, to dancing down the aisle at the conclusion of their ceremony, it was a day filled with surprise and emotion. As the skies darkened signalling showers, we were greeted with the most gorgeous rainbow at the end of their reception celebration. A truly perfect way to end the evening.
