I just want to say that I feel truly lucky to not only be able to do what I love, but to be able to travel to places both near and far to do so. Dariynn + Zach’s handmade, lakeside wedding was so special, and was truly knit together with love.
The day before the wedding, Greg + I drove to Tie Lake, BC, where Dariynn + Zach’s wedding was taking place, on the property of a family friend. We arrived to a frenzy of activity – the bridal party, families of the bride and groom and many friends crafting, sorting, assembling, for the big day. I found Dariynn relaxed in her swimsuit, ready to take a dip in the lake (“Even the bride needs a break!” she laughed). This relaxed attitude completely summed up what their entire day was like: simple, calm, and full of laughter.
Dariynn + Zach, it was truly a pleasure to meet you, your families and friends. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms.
